Game School for Open Schoolers
Leela Gurukulam forms the platform for children to learn how to learn. Our Game School for Open Schoolers is an opportunity available to Gold Members. Gameschool is an offering by Mindscape Education Methodology that uses board games, puzzles, toys and related projects to deliver multiple concepts and benefits to children, especially open learners.
While based on the principles of Indian Vision of Education, the approach and outcomes are in line with the guidance of NCF 2023. All learners are registered students of NIOS once they attain 7 years of age. Once registered, students are assigned to an NIOS Study Centre which provides the syllabus required to be completed. This is also covered through gamified learning at Leela Gurukulam.
Mindscape Methodology Programmes
Toddlerhood and early childhood is a period in human life when a Divine Identity can be built for the rest of life. This is the foundational basis of Bala Leela. Each kit contains activities related to cosmic and astral energies, Navagrahas and Nakshatras, providing an opportunity for a toddler to connect with symbols of sentient and insentient beings in this world with auspiciousness and divinity. The seeds of Vedangas sowed in a toddler enables future milestones of development as the mind formation progresses.
Exploring the power of imaginative play with props and curated Devata toys. Using structured imaginative play and stories from puranas, facilitating linking with divinity through play in early ages.
Introduction to Sacred Geometry though Temple Games of Bharata. Board Games are an expression of dynamic Yantras to enhance coherence and learn about energy interplay and energy fields.
Puzzles are very powerful and potent in nature. The way a puzzle stimulates a human mind is unlike any other Leela in the modern world. They have the ability to make a person focus, concentrate, calm themselves and bring them to a meditative state. This power of puzzles has been recognised for a long time, with pro puzzle builders listening to music with certain frequencies that enhance the mind and brain stimulation even more. In Prahelika, we use our wide range of puzzles along with hand-picked collection of stimulative and calming music to reap the best benefits of puzzles and meditation.
Wiseminds is mind mastery through games. The knowledge of Sanatana states that there are 7 states or mind worlds in which our mind can work. In each mind world, there is a different type of thinking which occurs. By practicing and understanding the different types of thinking, a person can master the mind worlds and hence become a better thinker.
Self Organised Learning Projects get learners to discover and channelize their rhythm of learning. Learners will work with 54 curated topics and submission of these projects will be in the form of presentations. The format of the presentation can through the use of visual tools or technology, dance, drama, music, or art work, or anyway way the learner wishes to express their learning on the given topic. These topics build the foundation required for science, social studies and math requirements for NIOS OBE Section C
Play Oriented Immersions to Nurture Talents are game based workshops on 54 topics that cover the essential knowledge and approach for science, social studies and math requirements for NIOS OBE Section C.
Omnio Math views mathematics beyond numbers and formulas but as the foundation of life. Math in day to day life is interplay of patterns and energies. Expands the scope of mathematics with mind development and psychology learning through math with manipulatives and play method.
We’ve all had questions about the Universe that sometimes remain a mystery. Address these questions under the lens of Modern Sciences and Research. Omniology brings a deeper appreciation of the universe beyond what we perceive. This course is an opportunity to approach and learn what our Rishis have passed on in the Scriptures of Bharata through the discoveries of Future Sciences.
